Goodies from the Expo. |
This weekend Grampa was in town for the Natural Products Expo West, so Gangy tagged along and Ezzy got to spend lots of time with the grandparents this weekend.
On Friday we met Gangy at Downtown Disney where we ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and then wandered around for a few hours. Ezzy met a duck at one of the fountains. He (Ezzy) was flapping his arms and making duck-like sounds so the real duck jumped out of the water and walked right up to Ezzy. He either thought he'd found a new friend, or a threat. Either way, I freaked out and we left the duck alone. Ezzy also liked screaming at all the kids playing in the pool at the Disneyland Resort.
On Saturday Ezzy got to have lunch with both of his grandmas. He was definitely basking in all the adoring attention. I'm pretty sure he's going to be looking for his cheer squad this week and wondering why nobody is clapping over every little move he makes.
On Sunday we walked around Pasadena taking lots of pictures. We also bought Ezzy a new pair of shoes, and while we were in the store we tested out his new shoes by kicking around a ball. Joe was very proud because when given the choice between a ball and a rainbow-colored toy xylophone, Ezzy chose the ball. So now of course Joe is certain Ezzy is going to grow up to be a ball player. It really was cute how much he loved kicking the ball. You can check it out in the video below.
